FET with 1 blast

Hi

I have 1 frozen blast which my partner and I would like to use in August/Sept time, I'm currently on Maternity leave and we feel it would be less stressful to have FET now rather then me being back at work especially with my little one as I don't want it to effect him at all.

I was just wondering about thaw rates and what is the chance of our snow bubba surviving are, if anyone has any info i would really appreciate it?

Hi Andrea,

I had 6 blasts frozen and like yourself started panicking about thawing them as I read on line that blasts have a much reduced thaw rate. After :pullhair: for a few hours I called the clinic who told me that their success thaw rate is 90% and lo and behold they thawed 2 and lost none!!. Unfortunately it didn't work for me but I still have 4 left.

So thats the thaw rate for my clinic. Give yours a call and ask them - they're bound to have stats and please god you#ll have another little bundle of joy soon.
